Other Jobs To Apply

THIS IS MORE THAN A JOB.

Chef Flavas is a hospitality company built on one mission: Uniting People Through Exceptional Food and Service.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow — someone who takes pride in their work, takes accountability seriously, and wants to be part of something bigger than a paycheck.

"We develop people, not just employees."

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Maintain a steady and consistent flow of clean dishes, cookware, and utensils for the kitchen team
  • Operate the dish machine correctly — including temperature checks, chemical levels, and rack loading
  • Keep the dish area organized, sanitized, and clear throughout the entire shift
  • Return clean items to their correct stations promptly — the line depends on you
  • Support back-of-house cleanliness: mop, trash removal, and sanitation as needed
  • Complete end-of-shift deep clean duties thoroughly and without being prompted
  • Communicate proactively when supplies are low or equipment needs attention
  • Be a reliable, hardworking presence that keeps the entire team moving

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Accountability — you do what you say, when you say it, without excuses
  • Excellence — you take pride in your work and continuously improve
  • Growth Mindset — you want to become more than you are today
  • Reliability — your team can count on you every single shift
  • Character — we hire for character first, skill second
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
  • Strong sense of ownership — your station reflects your standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warm environment

BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen support experience
  • Familiarity with commercial dish machine operation
  • Food handler certification (ServSafe or equivalent)

WHAT CHEF FLAVAS OFFERS YOU

  • PAID TRAINING — earning from Day One, no unpaid trial shifts
  • Employee Meal Discount — eat 1 discounted meal while you work
  • Referral Bonus Program — earn extra by referring catering candidates
  • Real Advancement — we promote from within
  • Leadership Development for High Performers

WHY CHEF FLAVAS:

The dishwasher is the backbone of our kitchen. When this role runs well, the entire operation runs well.

We take this position seriously — and we promote people who take it seriously too. Many of our kitchen leaders started here.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

All new team members begin with a paid training period. You will be compensated from your very first shift — no working for free, no unpaid trial shifts.

MANDATORY SATURDAY STAGE: This position requires a mandatory paid Saturday stage as part of the hiring process. The stage is your opportunity to show us who you are — and our opportunity to show you who we are. You will be paid for your time.

This is not a tryout — it is a mutual evaluation. We respect your time and we expect you to respect ours.

If you cannot commit to a Saturday stage, this position is not the right fit at this time.

Our hiring process: Application Review → Interview → Paid Saturday Stage → Offer. Each step is intentional.

We would rather wait for the right person than rush the wrong hire.

HOW TO APPLY:

Submit your application directly through this listing with your resume. No cover letter required — just show us your experience. Interviews are scheduled promptly and we respect your time.

We look forward to meeting you.

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Referral program

Work Location: In person
