Overview

OpenClinica is seeking an experienced analytics and tracking consultant to help us audit, redesign, and improve our marketing measurement infrastructure.

Approximately one year ago, we completed a significant tracking overhaul. Since then, we’ve made substantial changes to our website, forms, campaigns, and marketing operations. We are looking for an expert who can evaluate the current state of our tracking ecosystem, identify gaps and inconsistencies, recommend a scalable architecture, and implement improvements.

This is both a strategic and hands-on engagement. We are not simply looking for someone to create tags. We are looking for someone who understands attribution, conversion tracking, consent management, marketing analytics, and CRM integration.

Project Scope

Audit

Conduct a comprehensive review of our current tracking and attribution infrastructure:

* Google Tag Manager

* Google Analytics 4

* Google Ads conversion tracking

* Google Search Console

* Cookiebot

* Pardot

* Salesforce

Identify:

* Missing, duplicate, outdated, or misfiring events

* Conversion tracking gaps

* Attribution issues

* UTM inconsistencies

* Consent management concerns

* Data quality issues

* Problems with data flow between website activity, Pardot, and Salesforce

Strategy & Recommendations

Develop a recommended tracking architecture and measurement framework.

This should include:

* Event tracking strategy

* Conversion tracking strategy

* Attribution recommendations

* DataLayer recommendations

* Form tracking best practices

* Consent and privacy recommendations

* Reporting considerations

* Documentation standards for future maintenance

Implementation

Implement approved recommendations across:

* GTM

* GA4

* Google Ads

* WordPress

* Cookiebot

* Pardot/Salesforce integrations where appropriate

Ensure accurate tracking of key website actions and marketing conversions from first touch through CRM.

Validation & QA

* Validate all tracking implementations

* Test across browsers and devices

* Verify conversion flows

* Confirm accurate attribution and reporting

* Ensure CRM integrations function correctly

Deliverables

1. Current-state audit and findings report

3. List of prioritized improvements with rationale

4. Implementation of approved changes

Ideal Experience

* Advanced GTM and GA4 implementation experience

* Deep understanding of conversion tracking and attribution

* Experience with Google Ads conversion architecture

* Strong WordPress and form tracking experience

* Experience with Salesforce and Pardot integrations

* Familiarity with consent management platforms such as Cookiebot

* Ability to translate business requirements into scalable measurement frameworks

* Strong communication and documentation skills
