Overview
We are looking for a Sr Citrix Virtualization Engineer to lead and support our enterprise-scale Citrix implementations, ensuring seamless operation for thousands of users. In this role, you will transform our enterprise-level Citrix environments with cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about problem-solving, process optimization, and mentoring a team of tech professionals. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and optimize enterprise-level Citrix environments, including servers, ADCs, and related systems.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to standardize, enhance, and automate existing processes to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex Citrix-related incidents and issues, acting as the third-level escalation for support and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve technical problems across a variety of systems and platforms.
  • Lead technical projects and contribute to key initiatives to improve team workflows and technical processes.
  • Coach, mentor, and elevate junior team members while fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
  • Drive root cause analysis and manage problem resolution to improve team efficiency.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to upskill the team and raise the overall level of technical expertise.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in Citrix Virtualization Engineering/Administration, with hands-on experience in planning, assessments, implementations, and migrations for large environments (1000+ users).
    • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
    • Expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 2203 or later, Citrix NetScaler/ADC, Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix in Azure.
    • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for incident and change management.
    • Strong understanding of Citrix architectures and dependencies.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence team members.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE)
    • Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V)
    • Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V)
    • Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP-N)

Working Arrangements
This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility of working from home. Position may be located in US or Canada

Travel
Some travel may be required.
