Performance Video Editor

Other Jobs To Apply

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Latin America

Role Summary

  • Alpha Lion is looking for a Performance Video Editor to join one of our fastest-scaling brand pods. You’ll edit high-volume, direct-response video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube that drive real revenue — and you’ll see exactly how your creative performs, with real ad spend behind it, every single week. Your work will be a core engine behind scaling this funnel to $1M/month in ad spend.

Responsibilities

  • Edit direct-response video ads (UGC, testimonials, VSL cutdowns) for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Deliver 5 new ad concepts per week with 4 variations each (25 assets/week)
  • Iterate on winning ads based on real performance data
  • Craft scroll-stopping hooks, tight pacing, captions, and sound design that maximize retention and conversions
  • Keep project files, footage, and exports organized in a clean, scalable system
  • Collaborate daily with a performance creative manager, copywriters, and media buyers

What Success Looks Like

  • 25 polished, on-spec ad assets delivered every week, on time
  • Your ads regularly become winners that carry meaningful ad spend
  • Iterations shipped within 48 hours of performance feedback
  • Near-zero ad rejections or rework due to quality or compliance misses

Who You Are:

  • You move fast and love shipping — volume and deadlines energize you, not scare you
  • You care more about what converts than what wins film festivals
  • You’re data-curious: you want to know how your ads performed and why
  • You take feedback without ego and iterate relentlessly
  • You’re organized — templates, naming conventions, and systems are your friends

Experience & Skills:

  • 1–3 years editing short-form video, including real paid-social ad creative
  • Advanced Premiere Pro (or equivalent); solid captioning, sound design, and basic motion graphics
  • Portfolio of direct-response ads that ran with real ad spend
  • Comfortable producing 20+ finished assets per week

Nice to have:

  • Experience in supplements, health & wellness, or other DTC e-commerce categories
  • Familiarity with ad metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, ROAS) and creative testing frameworks
