This role is responsible for managing the bidding and scheduling of customer resources across multiple wholesale energy markets, with a primary focus on <strong>ISO New England (ISO-NE)</strong> and <strong>New York ISO (NYISO)</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience in wholesale or retail energy markets, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work with large datasets to optimize market participation and customer outcomes. This position will play a critical role in ensuring accurate bidding, scheduling, compliance, and ongoing portfolio performance improvement.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location</strong></p><ul><li>Hybrid role based in Baltimore, MD if local</li><li>Remote candidates will also be considered; <strong><em>but highly prefer East Coast or Central Time Zone candidates.</em></strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for daily, weekly, and monthly bidding and scheduling activities across participating wholesale energy markets.</li><li>Manage resource scheduling and market submissions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable market rules and program requirements.</li><li>Support customers by providing guidance, technical expertise, and recommendations related to energy market participation.</li><li>Perform analysis on bidding and scheduling strategies to maximize portfolio value and improve operational performance.</li><li>Conduct after-the-fact performance analysis and settlement estimations to identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Monitor market requirements and maintain compliance with company policies and wholesale market procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to develop process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.</li><li>Build, document, and maintain bidding and scheduling processes, procedures, and best practices.</li><li>Analyze operational data and develop reporting tools to support decision-making.</li><li>Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>4–6+ years of experience in wholesale or retail energy markets.</li><li>Experience supporting <strong>ISO New England (ISO-NE)</strong> and/or <strong>New York ISO (NYISO)</strong> markets strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and database applications.</li><li><strong>Experience with Power BI and VBA programming/automation required.</strong></li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.</li><li>Ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing deadlines, and work independently.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an energy markets professional who enjoys combining analytics, operations, and customer engagement to help shape the future of the evolving energy landscape.</p>
