Role Description
We are hiring a Web3 Hedge Fund Specialist (Remote, US) to develop institutional-grade digital asset investment strategies, manage DeFi portfolio allocations, and identify high-conviction opportunities across blockchain markets.
This role will combine investment research, quantitative analysis, and decentralized finance expertise to optimize capital deployment across staking, liquidity provisioning, yield-generating protocols, and emerging Web3 ecosystems. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, research, and product teams to maximize long-term portfolio performance while maintaining disciplined risk management practices.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute digital asset investment and hedge fund strategies across cryptocurrency and DeFi markets
Analyze blockchain protocols, tokenomics, liquidity conditions, and market trends to identify investment opportunities
Design portfolio allocation strategies focused on maximizing risk-adjusted returns
Research staking, yield farming, restaking, liquidity pools, and other decentralized finance opportunities
Monitor portfolio performance, volatility, and market risk across digital asset holdings
Conduct investment due diligence on blockchain projects, protocols, and Web3 infrastructure
Analyze on-chain metrics, capital flows, and macroeconomic developments affecting digital asset markets
Prepare investment reports, portfolio reviews, and strategic recommendations for leadership
Collaborate with product and ecosystem teams to support treasury and capital management initiatives
Stay current on regulatory developments, emerging blockchain technologies, and institutional digital asset trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in hedge funds, digital asset investing, portfolio management, quantitative research, or decentralized finance
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi protocols, and Web3 ecosystems
- Knowledge of tokenomics, staking mechanisms, liquidity management, and decentralized governance
- Experience with blockchain analytics platforms, portfolio management systems, and cryptocurrency exchanges
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to evaluate complex investment opportunities and balance risk with long-term return objectives

Compensation
Salary range: $145,000–$205,000 USD per year, depending on experience and expertise in digital asset investing, quantitative strategy, and decentralized finance.
Performance-based bonuses, token incentive programs, long-term ecosystem participation rewards, professional development funding, and additional benefits may also be offered.
