<p>VetsEZ is seeking a <strong>Senior DevSecOps / Platform Engineer </strong>to support a large federal healthcare technology program. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure platform services, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that enable scalable software delivery and reliable operations. You will work closely with development, security, and release teams across shared environments and platforms. </p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment workflows across development, test, and production environments.</li><li>Engineer secure and scalable cloud platform capabilities using infrastructure-as-code, container platforms, and automation tooling.</li><li>Support platform reliability, observability, access controls, secrets management, and operational readiness.</li><li>Partner with software engineers to improve developer experience, deployment efficiency, and release repeatability.</li><li>Implement and maintain DevSecOps controls across build, deploy, scanning, monitoring, and incident response workflows.</li><li>Manage platform components such as containers, orchestration platforms, artifact repositories, and shared runtime services.</li><li>Troubleshoot environment, pipeline, and deployment issues and support root cause analysis and service restoration.</li><li>Contribute to platform standards, runbooks, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Support change management, patching, upgrades, and operational governance for shared services.</li><li>Collaborate with architects and leadership to align platform evolution with future-state delivery needs.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul><li>A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, systems engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.</li><li>Experience with AWS, containerization, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.</li><li>Knowledge of security controls, secrets handling, vulnerability scanning, and compliance-oriented platform engineering.</li><li>Experience supporting shared environments, release automation, and operational support for enterprise applications.</li><li>Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting production issues.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills across engineering, QA, security, and program leadership.</li><li>Ability to document technical processes and operational procedures clearly.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Ability to obtain a Government clearance.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Additional Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Experience supporting federal contracting environments or Department of Veterans Affairs initiatives is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with InterSystems IRIS or healthcare integration platforms is a plus.</li><li>AWS, Kubernetes, security, or DevOps certifications are highly desirable.</li><li>Experience supporting regulated environments with auditability and security requirements is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Git-based delivery ecosystems is a plus.</li></ul>
