Local CDL A Hazmat Tanker Truck Driver

  • 4 Days On, 2 Days Off or 5 Days On, 1 Day Off

Essential Job Functions:
  • Transports crude oil from the lease to the unload station.
  • Measures crude oil at the lease location in accordance with company measurement policy.
  • Performs field measurement duties; tank level measurement by gauge line, BS & W percentage determination by sampling, sample analysis and custody transfer documentation (ticketing).
  • Unloads crude oil at the appropriate station in accordance with established operations and safety procedures.
  • Performs routine maintenance and inspections to assigned vehicle and equipment.
  • Properly secures load in order to comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains current CDL and Medical Examiner’s Certificate at all times.
  • Completes daily logs and turns in paperwork in timely manner per company policy.
  • Properly represents company to customers and general public.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Assists with special projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
  • Minimum 2 Years Recent Verifiable CDL A OTR Driving Experience
  • No at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Additional Premier Driver Hiring Standards (Smart Phone with E-Mail Address)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to speak and read English well enough to do his/her job and respond to official questions.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must comply with Premier’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • Must provide two (2) recent and verifiable years of over the road experience.
  • Must provide two (2) verifiable years DOT log experience.
  • Possess a current and valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Material and Tank endorsements.
  • Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Must pass a commercial driver’s road test.
  • Demonstrate the ability to determine whether a vehicle is safely loaded.
  • Must successfully complete a Criminal Background Investigation.
  • Smart Phone required (for dispatch) including email capability.
