Overview NIWC Atlantic Software Services requires ISHPI to provide emerging Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) information technology, to design, develop, engineer, and maintain systems that will improve customer organizational efficiency. ISHPI provides support in the areas of Administrative Services, Applications Integration Management, Corporate Strategy Planning and Execution, Information Assurance (IA), Information Resource Management, and Information Technology (IT) Operations. Further task includes new standards engineering, prototype installation, application development, data interoperability, system design, system management and maintenance, data collection, analysis, and other management and implementation efforts in support of data translation, data mediation, and data mapping. Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated Power Platform / SharePoint Developer (remote) with strong experience in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Power BI to support mission-critical government programs. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and is passionate about building intuitive, scalable low-code solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to design, develop, and deliver modern applications, automated workflows, and data visualization solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) that support business operations and enhance user experience across multiple devices and user roles Build and optimize Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and integrate systems across the Microsoft 365 environment Develop and support Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions that improve decision-making and operational visibility Leverage SharePoint Online (SPO) as a core platform for collaboration, document management, and application integration within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem Integrate solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and external enterprise systems using standard connectors, APIs, and custom development where needed Gather, define, and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with customers and stakeholders Translate customer needs into scalable low-code solutions while managing expectations and maintaining strong client relationships Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), solution validation, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution Conduct end-user training and develop knowledge transfer documentation to support adoption and long-term sustainment Participate in Agile development activities, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and regular project status reporting Contribute to design standards, reusable components, implementation documentation, and overall solution governance Present tailored demonstrations of solutions, highlighting usability, flexibility, and business value Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform roadmap updates and emerging capabilities to continuously improve solution delivery Qualifications Education BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related discipline. In lieu of degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is necessary. Experience 3–5 years of Power Apps development experience, including delivery of enterprise applications 1–5 years of Power Automate experience focused on workflow automation and business process improvement Strong experience with SharePoint Online (SPO) and a solid understanding of how SharePoint integrates within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem Experience with Power BI, reporting, and data visualization solutions Working knowledge of Dataverse, Power Pages, and Premium Capacities Understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to design intuitive, user-friendly applications Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams and collaboration tools Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and manage expectations Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong collaboration abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively Certification - Must have, or obtain within 3 months, at least one of the following CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate Security), CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst), GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional), GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), CompTIA Security+ CE, or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner). Current active certification highly preferred. Security Clearance Requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
