Smartsheet Dashboards are canvases that take shape as customers add interactive widgets to them. They serve as communication tools that provide relevant insights and allow end-users to form conclusions about their data in real-time.

Join our growing team and help us build the next generation of Dashboard features, such as a new widget management framework, as we work to empower our customers in their mission to produce and distribute dynamic, customizable content.

While this position is based at our headquarters in Bellevue, WA, you will also have the option to work remotely from any Smartsheet registered location within the United States. You will report to a leader within our Engineering Organization.

You Will:

  • Develop modular, maintainable components for the next generation of dashboards at Smartsheet (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS)
  • Be a technical leader on our team, implementing features in TypeScript and integrating with back-end Kotlin and Java services running on AWS
  • Drive quality and testing methodologies to ensure the robustness of our team's solutions
  • Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions as you work with other software engineers and product managers
  • Mentor junior engineers on code quality and other industry best practices
  • Report to an Engineering leader based in Bellevue, WA with the option to work remotely from any Smartsheet registered location within the United States

You Have:

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies, front-end frameworks and integrating with back-end services
  • The ability and desire to work across the whole stack
  • Experience with various project management methodologies
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
  • BS in Computer Science, a related field, equivalent industry experience, or equivalent educational experience
