Responsibilities And What You Will Do Design and edit visually compelling infographics and other assets using Canva to effectively communicate our mission, projects, and impact. Assist in reviewing video content, ensuring the visuals, text, and branding align with our mission and messaging. Ensure that all designs are consistent with ARO’s visual identity, mission, and values. Develop eye-catching visual content for social media platforms, including graphics for posts, stories, and ads to engage with our community and raise awareness. Use your creative skills to design materials that amplify our cause and help communicate our message to a wider audience. Assist in creating content that will be shared across our digital platforms (social media, websites, presentations) to build awareness and inspire action. Be a key part of creating visuals for fundraising, advocacy, and community-building campaigns. Qualifications Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week / 10+ months Proficiency in Canva with a portfolio showcasing experience in infographics, and social media graphics. Basic understanding of video production and editing techniques. Strong understanding of design principles and ability to create visually appealing content that resonates with diverse audiences. Experience in video review or editing is a plus. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Interest in supporting the goals of our organization and a passion for making a positive impact. Knowledge of current visual marketing trends and social media design best practices.
