We offer you a position where you will manage and grow smaller customer accounts across the Western Cape with a strong focus on remote and underserved areas. In this role, you will promote Pan Medtronic solutions, build customer relationships across multiple therapies, and use technology-enabled engagement to support customers effectively where in-person access may be limited. This role is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional who is comfortable working across a broad portfolio, identifying opportunities in smaller accounts, and using virtual tools, digital engagement, and remote support models to drive customer connection, responsiveness, and growth. The role also requires the ability to coordinate procedure support when customer needs require on-site assistance or a higher level of clinical or technical expertise than can be provided remotely. This role reports directly to the HUB Leader. Travel may be required based on business needs, but the role will primarily rely on technology to engage and support customers across remote territories.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. - Promote and sell Pan Medtronic solutions across assigned smaller accounts in the Western Cape to meet or exceed sales targets - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through virtual engagement, phone, email, digital tools, and other technology-enabled channels to ensure consistent support and responsiveness - Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities within smaller accounts by understanding customer needs, portfolio fit, and local market dynamics across the Pan Medtronic offering - Develop account plans for smaller and remote customers, focusing on account penetration, growth opportunities, and customer retention across multiple therapy areas - Coordinate with field sales, marketing, customer service, and cross-functional teams to ensure customers receive the right support, information, and follow-up across the Medtronic portfolio - Coordinate procedure support when customer needs require on-site assistance or higher-skilled clinical or technical support that cannot be delivered remotely, ensuring timely alignment of the right resources for effective customer care - Use CRM tools and digital platforms to manage customer interactions, track opportunities, document activities, and maintain visibility of account status and commercial progress - Maintain accurate sales forecasts and projections based on customer trends, market share data, territory activity, and sales opportunities, while monitoring market dynamics to identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts Required Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience - Relevant sales experience in medical devices, healthcare, or a related commercial environment at Sales Rep III level, with the ability to manage smaller accounts, identify opportunities, and support growth across a broad product portfolio - Professional fluency in the required local language(s) and English, in writing and speech - Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills, with confidence in customer interactions conducted virtually and across geographically dispersed territories - Comfortable working across multiple therapies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to connect customers with the right Medtronic solutions and support resources - Ability to assess when customer procedure needs require additional clinical or technical support and coordinate the appropriate resources when support cannot be delivered effectively through remote channels alone - Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage a remote territory using digital tools, CRM systems, and technology-enabled customer engagement methods - Full clean driver’s license (as required for the territory) We value experience in inside sales, remote customer engagement, digital selling tools, and healthcare account management.
