Under minimal guidance, ensure that the project plan, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk, budget, and deliverables are in alignment with the project goal and objectives as defined by the project statement of work. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.<br><br>Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.</p><p></p><p><b><i>Responsibilities</i></b></p><ul><li>Oversee team members’ milestones and performance as compared to project plan, scope, budget, resources, and schedule.</li><li>Communicate project progress and information to senior sponsors, stakeholders, and field as appropriate.</li><li>Develop and prepare written project plans for complex projects addressing, tasks, roles and responsibilities, risk, resources, budget and communications.  </li><li>Develop work breakdown structure and perform critical path analysis.</li><li>Manage the change control within project, obtaining sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget and schedule that effect the critical path.</li><li>Acquire a project charter from senior management and obtain sign off on the statement of work by the project sponsor.</li><li>Ensure that scope, budget, and schedule targets are within variance and project delivery date is met.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Scope</i></b></p><p>Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in specific area.  Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.  Adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.</p><p></p><p><b><i>Qualifications</i></b></p><p><b>Education:</b> Bachelor's degree required.</p><p><b>Experience: </b>Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.</p><p><b>Skills & Abilities: </b>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop project plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve organizational goals. Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to work on a team.</p><p><b>Travel: </b> <span>this position will require extensive travel</span></p><p></p><p><i>*Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).</i></p><p></p><p><b>PAY INFORMATION:</b> The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed.
