In this role, you will develop and maintain data definitions, dictionaries, and concept mappings aligned with established standards to ensure semantic consistency and reliable research data. You will serve as a content expert for clinical teams and committees, providing guidance on program and registry requirements while identifying opportunities for process improvement. Your work will support quality initiatives, benchmark performance, and the delivery of accurate, reproducible research data.</p><p></p><p><b>A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.</b></p><p><b><i>To be considered for this role, candidates must reside in Ohio</i></b></p><p></p><p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:  </p><ul><li><p>Provide content expertise for program / registry requirements and guidelines to clinical teams and committees in a multi-hospital environment.</p></li><li><p>Identify patients in the clinical registries through the application of strict criteria and protocols.</p></li><li><p>Collect and validate data for the program using the applicable criteria and definitions established by the registry.</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain adequate work flow for data collection.</p></li><li><p>Provide accurate and timely submission of data into the program's website and assuring the transmission of completed data according to the program's targets and deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Analyze data and reports to identify opportunities for improvement.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with clinical departments/units on performance improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare or a related field <b>and</b> three years of clinical experience or related research/registry experience</p></li><li><p><b>OR</b> a diploma from an accredited school of nursing or a certification from an Allied Healthcare program <b>and </b>five years of experience </p></li><li><p><b>OR</b> Associate’s degree in Science, Healthcare or a related field <b>and</b> five years of experience</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with medical record documentation and mainframe systems for patient information</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor of Science in Nursing</p></li><li><p><i>Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license may be required for some positions</i></p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Medical terminology</p></li><li><p>Experience working with healthcare data</p></li><li><p>Computer skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods</p></li><li><p>Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information</p></li><li><p>In some locations, ability to move up to 10 pounds</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Personal Protective Equipment:</b></p><ul><li><p>Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit">                       </p><p>The policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
