Job Description

United Parcel Service (UPS) is seeking diligent and detail-oriented candidates to join our team as Data Entry Specialists. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to our mission of excellence in logistics and package delivery. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently managing large volumes of information and maintaining our database systems.

Requirements

– Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position

– Excellent typing speed and accuracy

– Strong attention to detail

– Proficiency in MS Office and data entry software

– Good command of English both oral and written

– High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

Responsibilities

– Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits

– Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry

– Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking the output

– Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents

– Applying data program techniques and procedures

– Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations

– Scanning documents and printing files when needed

– Keeping information confidential in accordance with security policies
