WordPress / Elementor Developer — Pre-Launch Frontend Fixes (Homepage + Events Page + Map Pages)

Other Jobs To Apply

No other job posts for this day.

We are 22Carrots — the Premier Platform for Food & Drink Crossovers, Brand Collaborations, Events, Experiences, and Pop-Ups. Our WordPress/Elementor staging site (connie.22carrots.com) is close to launch-ready. A separate developer is already working on our Gravity Forms + Stripe payment system on the same staging site.

We need an experienced Elementor developer to complete a focused set of targeted fixes across our homepage, events page, and map pages before go-live. This is polish and logic work — NOT a rebuild. Please review connie.22carrots.com before applying.

— MUST-HAVE TASKS (all required before go-live) —

1. STATUS STICKER AUTO-LOGIC — Homepage

Currently all event cards show a static "Now open" sticker. Replace with automated logic:

- NOW OPEN — when event is currently live (between start and end date)

- COMING SOON — when event start date is in the future

- ENDING SOON — when event end date is within 7 days

Logic must be date-driven, not manually set. Capitalise consistently (all caps).

2. REMOVE PREMIUM / STANDARD BADGES — Homepage

Remove the orange "Premium" and grey "Standard" tier badges currently showing top-right on all event cards. These should not be visible to site visitors.

3. MONTHLY HIGHLIGHTS BAR — Homepage + Events page

The bar currently starts at JAN 2026 (past months showing). Fix so it:

- Always starts at the current month (never shows past months)

- Shows exactly 12 months forward from today

- Each month click filters events to show only that month

- Apply this fix to both the homepage bar and the events page

4. DATE ON EVENT CARDS (browse view) — Events page

In the full events browse view, cards currently show a "Now Open" sticker. Replace with the actual date or date range (e.g. "Apr 9 – May 3"). The status sticker (Task 1) stays on homepage hero cards only — the browse deck shows dates.

5. FOOTER COPYRIGHT YEAR — All pages

Update © 2025 to © 2026 in the footer. Apply globally via the Elementor footer template so it updates across all pages at once.

6. SUBMIT YOUR EVENT CTA — All 5 map pages

Add a prominent "Submit Your Event" or "List Your Event Here" button on all 5 map pages:

- /america-map-location/

- /europe-map-location/

- /asia-and-pacific-map-location/

- /middle-east-map-location/

- /map/ (global page)

Button links to the events submission form (URL to be provided on hire).

7. INSPIRE YOUR NEXT JOURNEY SECTION — Homepage

This section currently has COMING SOON stickers and inactive placeholders. Fix:

- Remove COMING SOON stickers from the travel event cards

- Embed a YouTube video (URL provided on hire)

- Add a JOIN 22CARROTS button linking to /membership/

- Add a SHOP NOW button linking to the shopping guide page (URL provided on hire)

— HIGH PRIORITY TASKS (important for best user experience) —

8. TOP CITY QUICK-FILTER BUTTONS — Events page

Add a row of clickable city buttons directly below the search bar on the events page:

NEW YORK · LONDON · TOKYO · SHANGHAI · PARIS · SINGAPORE · LOS ANGELES

When clicked, each button filters the events list to show only events in that city/country. Style to match the existing site aesthetic.

9. CHRONOLOGICAL SORT — Events page

Set the default sort order on the events page so events ending soonest appear first. Events with future start dates appear later in the list.

10. IMPROVE FILTER PANEL VISIBILITY — Events page

The filter panel currently shows only Food and Drinks at the top level. All crossover types (Food × Art, Food × Fashion etc.), Event Types, and Brands should be immediately visible without needing to expand or navigate into sub-levels. Do not add new categories — just make the existing ones visible upfront.

11. CLEAN DATE FORMAT IN POP-UP OVERLAYS — Homepage

The event pop-up overlays currently show dates as a row of individual day tiles (e.g. FRI 03 APR, SAT 04 APR etc.) which becomes very long for range events. Replace with a clean readable format: e.g. "Apr 9 – May 3, 2026" or "March 27 – May 10, 2026".

12. EXPLORE THE MAP CTA — Homepage + Events page

Add a prominent "EXPLORE THE MAP →" button or link in two places:

- On the homepage, near the regional map section

- On the events/category page

Links to the global map page at /map/

— REQUIRED SCREENING QUESTIONS — Answer ALL 4 to be considered —

Proposals without answers to all 4 questions will not be reviewed.

Q1: Have you reviewed connie.22carrots.com? Describe what you see on the homepage and one specific change you would make to fix the monthly highlights bar.

Q2: How would you implement the status sticker auto-logic (NOW OPEN / COMING SOON / ENDING SOON) in Elementor so it updates automatically based on event dates — not manually?

Q3: The site is running Elementor free version with Essential Addons. Do any of the 12 tasks listed require Elementor Pro, and if so, which ones and how would you handle that?

Q4: A separate developer is actively building on this staging site (Gravity Forms + Stripe). How do you ensure your Elementor changes don't conflict with their backend work?
