<p>At Zendesk, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Threat Monitoring & Response Engineer to join our Security team. As a Threat Monitoring & Response Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security threats, as well as identifying and preventing malicious activity on the Zendesk network.To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis. You should also have knowledge of intrusion detection systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS). Additionally, you should be well-versed in security technologies, such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and log management solutions.The ideal candidate will be a skilled problem solver with excellent communication and technical skills. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for securing Zendesk’s systems and networks. If you have a genuine interest in cyber security and are excited to take on this challenge, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Monitor and respond to security threats across the Zendesk network Identify and prevent malicious activity on the Zendesk network Develop and maintain an incident response plan Lead investigations into potential security breaches Investigate suspicious activity and take corrective action Analyze security system logs and assess potential risks Utilize intrusion detection systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) Maintain security systems such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and log management solutions Participate in security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance initiatives Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends Document and report on security incidents and threats</p><p>Zendesk is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
