This individual plays a pivotal role in shaping and leading Salesforce Spiff projects, driving successful implementations, and ensuring that customers realize their goals.</p><p></p><p>The Spiff Technical Architect successfully designs and manages the delivery of complex Salesforce Spiff solutions for our customers. These technologies include--but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Data360 and data management technologies, and iPaaS, integration, and ETL technologies. You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep. You take pride in designing systems that stand up to high volumes and won't fail at critical points. You have a good mix of technical and enterprise skills when it comes to architecting a solution. The solutions you design are built for the long-term and will scale with the customer's growth plans seamlessly. You have proven experience integrating systems via API’s as well as a strong development background.</p><p>The Spiff Technical Architect also collaborates across the organization to develop client-specific proposals, staffing plans, and statements of work (SOWs). They champion best practices, develop shared assets, and align on global initiatives that propel the Salesforce Spiff community forward.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations</li><li>Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform</li><li>Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states</li><li>Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce Spiff projects</li><li>Follow and help define integration standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate integration patterns are followed</li><li>Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce Spiff implementation</li><li>Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role</li><li>Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues</li><li>From time-to-time, the TA may be expected to partake in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects</li><li>Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications & Skills</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable experience of technical design & technical delivery of <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Software-As-A-Service</span> platforms</li><li>Hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience for a major software domain (e.g. CRM, ERP, HR) as well as coding experience in object oriented languages</li><li>Deep knowledge in APIs, SQL/SOQL, Data Distribution, Data Modelling, and Data integration concepts</li><li>Ideally 5+ years in data architecture or consulting, with solution design and project delivery experience</li><li>Experienced with iPaaS automation platforms such as Workato, Mulesoft, Informatica  or Zapier.</li><li>Understanding of Salesforce Products</li><li>Experience in executing data strategies, landscape architecture assessments and technical proof-of-concepts</li><li>Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance</li><li>Executive level oral and written communication skills including technical documentation. The ability to conceptualise and communicate complex architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Ability to scope, define and manage work packages. Support pre-sale qualification with solutions validation</li><li>Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
