This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams enterprise-wide to deliver actionable insights that inform strategy, optimize performance, and support scalable growth.</p> <p>This role requires strong analytical rigor, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings deep SaaS and enterprise finance expertise, excels at financial modeling and storytelling, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead development, refinement, and ownership of core SaaS metrics and KPIs, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and alignment with industry benchmarks</li> <li>Support and analyze key SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, bookings, revenue, margins, renewals, customer lifetime value, and expense drivers</li> <li>Build and maintain sophisticated financial models using Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and other tools, with a focus on automation and scalability</li> <li>Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic insights, recommendations, and decision support through deep financial and operational analysis</li> <li>Serve as a strategic thought partner to enterprise leadership, supporting long- and short-term planning across bookings, revenue, pipeline, and operating expenses by product, geography, and business segment</li> <li>Work closely leadership across the organization on capacity planning, quota setting, compensation design, and commission analysis</li> <li>Prepare staffing and productivity analyses and deliver data-driven recommendations to executive leadership</li> <li>Identify financial risks and opportunities that impact enterprise performance and support proactive decision-making</li> <li>Lead the design and delivery of executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and visual storytelling for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reviews</li> <li>Support consolidation of budgets and forecasts in partnership with FP&A team members, continuously improving models and reporting accuracy</li> <li>Drive reporting, forecasting, and process improvements, including metric alignment, data integrity, and automation across systems</li> <li>Prepare materials for Monthly Reporting Packages, Quarterly Business Reviews, and executive and Board-level presentations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or strategic finance; experience in PE-backed or public company environments is a plus</li> <li>5+ years of experience in technology or SaaS finance</li> <li>Deep expertise in SaaS GTM finance, including revenue models, sales productivity, and pipeline dynamics</li> <li>Expert-level financial modeling skills</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning/budgeting tools</li> <li>Salesforce experience required</li> <li>Strong ability to influence, partner with, and communicate effectively to senior leaders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification</li> <li>Experience with Tableau, NetSuite, or similar analytics and ERP platforms</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, particularly with financial data</li> <li>Strong leadership skills with experience developing and mentoring finance talent</li> <li>Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li> <li>Collaborative mindset with a strong focus on business partnership and impact</li> <li>Work cooperatively with others within the organization and other cross-functional stakeholders.</li> <li>Work well in fast-paced, high-stress environments.</li> <li>Has predictable, reliable attendance.</li> </ul> <p>The salary range for this role is $135,000 -$149,000 + bonus + benefits</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>ABOUT EXTRAHOP</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <p>ExtraHop is reinventing Network Detection and Response (NDR) to offer enterprises unparalleled visibility, context, and control against emerging threats.
