Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our team in various billing, bookkeeping, clerical and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in financial management and be proficient in handling accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth office operations. Pay is contingent on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with journal entries and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Utilize financial software to track expenses and manage budgets effectively.
  • Support corporate accounting functions by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Maintain organized files and records for all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.

Skills

  • Proficiency in clerical duties with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience with debits, credits, and account reconciliation is essential.
  • Familiarity with financial software with financial software is required.
  • Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and GAAP standards is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients.
