Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-prem and public cloud platforms.
  • Lead datacenter modernization efforts, including migrations from legacy platforms to hyperconverged infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Manage virtualization platforms and ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Provide L3/L4 support for escalated infrastructure issues and act as a technical escalation point.
  • Participate in strategic planning, vendor evaluations, projects, and budget recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field/Experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure engineering.
  • Extensive experience in virtualization platform architecture and lifecycle management, including deployment, administration, and migration strategies across hyperconverged, cloud, and traditional environments.
  • Experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in hybrid cloud deployments.
  • Extensive datacenter experience with Cisco UCS , PureStorage , and NetApp systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading infrastructure modernization or migration projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Nutanix (AHV, Prism, Calm, Move).
  • Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi , vCenter, vSAN , and NSX.
  • Cloud fluency in Azure and GCP: networking, compute , storage, identity, and governance.
  • Datacenter hardware expertise : Cisco UCS blade and rack systems, PureStorage FlashArray , NetApp ONTAP.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backup : Commvault , Azure Site Recovery , and other disaster recovery tools and automation .
  • Automation & Monitoring : Scripting (PowerShell, Python ), familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Dynatrace , Splunk ).
  • S ecurity & Compliance : Familiarity with NIST, SOX , and ISO standards.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
  • Regular in-office attendance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code ( IaC ) tools such as Terraform , Ansible , or ARM templates is a plus.
