The Work Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our Advanced Launchers and Mk 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) programs in Moorestown, NJ. You'll join a collaborative Software Engineering team developing and supporting real-time embedded software for mission-critical systems. In this role, you will: * Plan, design, develop, integrate, test, debug, and document software.
* Apply object-oriented programming and software engineering principles to solve complex problems.
* Develop and implement solutions across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Support software integration, verification, and test activities.
* Apply software configuration management practices and ensure engineering standards are met.
* Independently determine technical approaches and develop solutions to challenging software problems.
* Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality capabilities.
