This role requires deep experience in test automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile development, and will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, scalable applications.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ellipsis Health is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, but we are open to remote candidates within the United States.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Validate end-to-end business workflows, including Apex-driven logic, integrations, and data flows<br>Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Validate Salesforce API integrations (REST/SOAP) and ensure data integrity across systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify, document, and track defects using Jira (or similar tools), and partner with engineering to ensure timely resolution</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create and maintain test plans, test data strategies, and reusable QA assets to improve coverage and efficiency</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to quality-focused discussions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to triage issues, prioritize defects, and assess release risks</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5+ years of experience in SDET / QA Automation roles with strong exposure to Salesforce-based applications</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, or similar frameworks (Java or Python preferred)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience testing Salesforce customizations, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, and security models</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture (standard & custom objects, relationships) with hands-on experience writing and validating queries using SOQL</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience validating complex data models and ensuring data integrity across systems and integrations</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience testing web service integrations (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or SoapUI</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong understanding of Agile development processes and QA best practices</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proven ability to design test strategies, test plans, and scalable QA processes<br>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience in healthcare or medical applications, especially care workflows or patient engagement systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered features and approaches to testing AI-driven workflows</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Salary and Benefits:</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We offer a competitive salary of $140-$160k and benefits, including a 401k that matches up to 4% of your salary, health, vision, and dental insurance, and very flexible paid time off.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2><strong>Background Checks:</strong></h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">As a health technology company, we reserve the right to run a background check on any applicant to which we extend an offer and to re-perform any such check at any time during the course of employment.
