Join us and be part of our inspiring journey.</p><p></p><p>The Senior Manager, Scientific <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Communications –</span> TMTT will Lead the design and implementation of scientific communication activities.<br><br><b>You will make an impact by:</b></p><ul><li><p>Proactively prioritize, identify, assess, and critically summarize relevant scientific and medical literature across therapeutic area Synthesize, assess, and communicate potential impact of key findings to internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Interpret study results and collaborate with HCPs (e.g., study Investigators, physician) in the development of scientific communications content, such as conference proceedings (e.g., abstracts and presentations) and/or journal manuscripts</p></li><li><p>Initiate ad hoc data analysis (e.g., survival analysis) of clinical data sets and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Lead conference coverage of all major relevant medical/scientific conferences within assigned geographic regions/areas and synthesize and disseminate the summaries</p></li><li><p>Conduct literature review to address internal and external medical information queries</p></li><li><p>Provide input to set the Global strategy of medical/scientific podium and publication programs</p></li><li><p>Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key academic institutions, physicians, KOLs, hospitals, scientific societies and associations to facilitate scientific communication efforts</p></li><li><p>Lead the continued development of the scientific content repository</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you'll need (Required):</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in related field with 10 years of previous experience required or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria</p></li><li><p>Master’s degree with 8 years of related experience working in clinical, research or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria</p></li><li><p>Certification in related discipline</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What else we look for (Preferred):</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience working in a large manufacturing company or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria</p></li><li><p>Expert in the development of scientific/medical conference proceedings and manuscript publication in major scientific journals</p></li><li><p>Extensive scientific acumen, for use in various circumstances, including in working with internal stakeholders and with physicians in identifying evidence gaps and opportunities</p></li><li><p>Extensive knowledge of ACCME, AdvaMed, EUcomed, FDA and ISO regulations</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership skills with ability to influence and guide stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Proven successful project management skills<br>Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related systems</p></li><li><p>Excellent presentation and facilitation skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives</p></li><li><p>Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth and breadth of expertise within area of work in the organization</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.<br><br>For California, the base pay range for this position is $145,000 to $205,000 (highly experienced).<br><br>The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).<span> </span>Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.<span>  </span></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>E<span>dwards is an Equal <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Opportunity/Affirmative</span> Action employer including protected Veterans and individuals with disabilities.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>COVID Vaccination Requirement</b></p><p><span>Edwards is committed to protecting our vulnerable patients and the healthcare providers who are treating them.
