About UPS & Our Culture

Every November, UPS launches the most intense hiring surge in American logistics — and the associates who join us for peak season are the reason millions of holiday gifts arrive on time. Our Seasonal Warehouse Loader positions are the highest-earning short-term warehouse jobs available in any market during Q4, combining elevated base wages, overtime opportunities, and performance bonuses that standard-season associates simply do not access. If you are searching for seasonal warehouse jobs near me that pay competitively, hire fast, and can turn into a permanent career, UPS peak season is the clearest pathway we know of into one of America's most respected blue-collar employers.

What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"I came in for peak season just to earn Christmas money. By the end of December, UPS had offered me a permanent position, enrolled me in the Earn & Learn program, and added me to the Teamsters union. The overtime during the peak weeks was incredible — some of my paychecks were double what I expected going in. If you want seasonal warehouse jobs that can actually change your life, start here." - Former Seasonal Loader, Now Permanent Associate, Dallas, TX.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a UPS Seasonal Warehouse Loader, you join our package center operation during the November-through-January peak window, building package car loads at high volume during the most critical delivery season of the year. Every package you load is a holiday gift heading to a real family — the stakes make the work genuinely meaningful.

  • High-Volume Peak Loading: Build package car loads during the holiday surge at volumes significantly above normal season levels, maintaining UPS load quality standards even as throughput targets reach their annual maximum during the weeks surrounding Black Friday and Christmas.
  • Overtime Availability: Accept voluntary and mandatory overtime during critical peak days — Cyber Week, pre-Christmas, and post-holiday return season — generating a substantially larger seasonal paycheck than standard-hour seasonal roles provide.
  • Pathway to Permanent Hire: Demonstrate reliability and performance throughout the seasonal window to be formally considered for a permanent UPS warehouse or driver position at the conclusion of peak — the most valuable outcome a seasonal warehouse job can offer.

Benefits & Perks

UPS Seasonal Warehouse Loaders receive competitive hourly wages, significant overtime opportunities, and access to weekly paychecks from their very first shift. Seasonal associates who convert to permanent status gain immediate access to Teamsters union benefits — medical, dental, vision, pension, and UPS Earn & Learn tuition assistance — making this the most career-valuable seasonal warehouse job in the logistics market.
