<strong>Overview<br><br></strong>Are you a highly motivated individual with an extensive tax preparation background, excellent writing skills, and a passion for customers and community?<br><br>Would you like to be part of a team that shares your love for tax, works in comradery, and mutual support for the common goal?<br><br>Would you like to do that from the comfort of your own home?<br><br>If you said yes to the above, this position is for you.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>What you’ll do:<br><br><ul><li>Support TurboTax customers by providing high-quality written responses to tax and technical questions in our online Community in order for customers to complete their tax returns</li><li>Produce accurate written content quickly and proficiently, while striving to meet defined quality and productivity goals</li><li>Various other projects using effective writing skills<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements And Work Environment<br><br></strong><ul><li>Remote work-from-home</li><li>Ability to type or voice-to-text proficiently<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>What you need:<br><br><ul><li>Active EA Certification, CPA, or JD (practicing attorney in taxation)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent experience preparing federal (individual Form 1040) and<br><br></li></ul>state income tax returns using professional tax software in a work environment; any<br><br>additional experience with business returns is a plus (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041)<br><br><ul><li>Ability to write clearly and concisely, using simple language to explain complex tax<br><br></li></ul>issues<br><br><ul><li>Excellent use of the English language, including spelling and grammar</li><li>Ability to understand and interpret customers' tax questions without seeing their tax<br><br></li></ul>return<br><br><ul><li>Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills</li><li>Technical proficiency using a variety of cloud-based applications, search engines,<br><br></li></ul>Google Workspace, and essential computer skills such as Microsoft Office and file<br><br>management<br><br><ul><li>Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week), flexible within five set days of the week<br><br></li></ul>Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
