What you\'ll bring

  • Active EA Certification, CPA, or JD (practicing attorney in taxation)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience preparing federal (individual Form 1040) and state income tax returns using professional tax software in a work environment; any additional experience with business returns is a plus (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041)
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, using simple language to explain complex tax issues
  • Excellent use of the English language, including spelling and grammar
  • Ability to understand and interpret customers\' tax questions without seeing their tax return
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Technical proficiency using a variety of cloud-based applications, search engines, Google Workspace, and essential computer skills such as Microsoft Office and file managementAbility to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week), flexible within five set days of the week

How you will lead

  • Support TurboTax customers by providing high-quality written responses to tax and technical questions in our online Community in order for customers to complete their tax returns
  • Produce accurate written content quickly and proficiently, while striving to meet defined quality and productivity goals
  • Various other projects using effective writing skills
