You Are:

A highly motivated Cybersecurity Sales Development Representative (SDR) who isa proactive and results-driven professional who can drive engagement with target accounts, maximize the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts, and own the prospecting process.

You are highly organized, analytical, and proactive—thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining exceptional CRM hygiene and leveraging sales tools effectively.


The Opportunity:

  • Conduct regular (6-8 per month) 1:1 meetings with the sales team to align on priorities and support their outreach efforts.
  • Follow up diligently with target accounts and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) lists provided by sales.
  • Own and manage inbound and outbound lead qualification, ensuring all sales opportunities are maximized.
  • Engage with all marketing-generated leads (MQLs and SQLs) daily, ensuring no lead goes untouched.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all outreach activities, including calls, emails, and meetings in the CRM.
  • Consistently refine and improve prospecting strategies by analyzing past interactions and engagement trends.
  • Take full ownership of CRM updates, ensuring data accuracy with detailed notes, property updates, enrichment, and pipeline health.
  • Fill out ad-hoc reports as needed to provide insights into lead generation, conversion rates, and other key sales metrics.
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, marketing, and leadership through real-time data updates and insights.
  • Take initiative in proposing new ideas for improving the prospecting and lead conversion process.
  • Leverage company tools and software to optimize efficiency and gain a competitive edge in outreach.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, cybersecurity threats, and competitor activities to enhance outreach messaging.

What you need:

  • At least 5+ years of enterprise cybersecurity sales or related experience
  • Strong understanding of ABM strategies, MQLs, and SQLs
  • Excellent CRM management skills (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Experience with sales automation tools and prospecting platforms
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset with a passion for tech sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of generating SQLs and meetings for the sales team.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working with cybersecurity MSSPs, or security vendors
  • Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint security, or cloud security solutions
  • Past success in high-growth or startup environments

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $62,000-93,000 base plus Commission


Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
