<div><p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Regional Distribution Leader (Account Manager)</b></p><p></p><p><b>The Impact You’ll Make in this Role</b></p><p>As a 3M Regional Distribution Leader for the Electrical Markets Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:</p><p></p><ul><li>Grow 3M business through key distribution partners by identifying sales, conversion, and growth opportunities. </li><li>Deliver the 3M EMD value proposition while building strong relationships across distributors and customer organizations. </li><li>Execute distributor business plans through QBRs, inventory management, contracts, RFQs, and commercial activities. </li><li>Lead marketing, promotional, training, merchandising, and sales initiatives to drive demand and customer engagement. </li><li>Conduct regular distributor visits to support sales growth, product adoption, and operational excellence. </li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue, growth, and customer success objectives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise </b><br/>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)</p></li><li>Two (2) years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><p></p><ul><li>Experience selling products within the greater Baltimore market. </li><li>Two (2)+ years of sales, marketing, distribution, or channel management experience. </li><li>Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and data-driven selling techniques. </li><li>Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, product lines, customer segments, and distribution channels. </li><li>Experience with strategic account management, pricing, profitability analysis, and business planning.</li><li>Previous experience calling on strategic accounts or influencing/building account support base.
