Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated graduate student to join arenaflex’s OCPD on a part‑time, remote basis for the summer. The role is designed for individuals who thrive on detail‑oriented tasks, enjoy collaborative research, and are eager to gain insider knowledge of career development processes. Successful candidates will work closely with senior staff, including the office’s dean, to support data management and contribute to strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Management: Accurately input, update, and verify student and employer information across multiple career platforms and internal databases.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct routine audits to identify and correct inconsistencies, ensuring data reliability for reporting and analytics.
  • Research Support: Assist in gathering and synthesizing data for employment trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging industry sectors under the guidance of Dean Kraiem.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of data entry procedures, changes, and project milestones to facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Collaboration: Communicate regularly with OCPD staff to align data initiatives with broader office goals and student outreach programs.
  • Front‑Desk Preparation (Potential Extension): If the role extends into the academic year, you may assume additional responsibilities such as staffing the front desk, greeting visitors, and providing basic information about career services.

Required Qualifications

  • Current enrollment as a graduate student at the main campus of arenaflex.
  • Demonstrated experience with data entry, preferably using spreadsheet software (Excel, reputed company Sheets) and database tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑motivation and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
