The Elite Job is seeking detail-oriented and experienced Online Medical Transcriptionists to join our team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a critical role in transforming medical audio recordings into accurate, well-structured healthcare documentation. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to high-quality patient care through precise medical transcription.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to and transcribe audio recordings of medical professionals accurately.
  • Review and edit transcripts for grammatical, spelling, and medical terminology accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Format medical documents according to client and healthcare industry standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify discrepancies in dictations.
  • Use transcription software tools to optimize efficiency and maintain a high level of output quality.
  • Manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines for document submissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in medical transcription, with expertise in healthcare documentation.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
  • Strong listening and typing skills with high accuracy.
  • Familiarity with transcription software and foot pedal equipment.
  • Knowledge of medical formatting standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of medical transcription experience is preferred.
  • Experience in remote work or freelance transcription projects is an advantage.
