<p><strong>Legal Assistant / Paralegal – Full-Time – Georgetown, DC</strong></p><p>Posey Lebowitz PLLC, a boutique litigation firm located in Georgetown, is seeking a bright, motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate who is eager to work hard, develop strong litigation skills, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced law firm environment.</p><p><br></p><p>We handle a range of plaintiffs' personal injury and commercial litigation cases, and we're looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take ownership of important casework from day one.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Gather, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and other critical case documents</li><li>Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing legal documents, settlement demands, and court filings</li><li>Communicate regularly with clients regarding their medical treatment, case progress, and needs</li><li>Maintain well-organized and up-to-date electronic case files</li><li>Support the legal team in all phases of case development and litigation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and general office technology</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and juggle multiple cases and deadlines</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail – accuracy matters in everything you do</li><li>A proactive, self-driven attitude – we value team members who take initiative and move cases forward without being micromanaged</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time, in-office position in Georgetown, DC</li><li>Collaborative, hands-on environment with mentorship and real responsibility</li><li>An opportunity to build a strong foundation for a future career in law</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are passionate about building a legal career, thrive under pressure, and take pride in producing excellent work, we’d love to hear from you.</p>
