<p> Spotify's Audiobooks team is building a world-class listening experience for authors, publishers, and listeners alike. As part of this team, you'll help bring stories to life through high-quality production and thoughtful creative execution. You'll work closely with Publishing, Partner Relations, and Content Strategy to deliver compelling audiobook content at scale while shaping how we produce and grow this space.<br /> What You'll Do<br /> • Lead and support a team of two producers, guiding day-to-day execution across multiple audiobook productions<br /> • Oversee end-to-end production, from pre-production, casting, recording, quality control, and delivery<br /> • Set clear project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, identifying risks early and keeping projects on track<br /> • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on creative vision and production goals<br /> • Act as the primary production partner to Publishing, aligning output with partner commitments and content priorities<br /> • Work closely with Partner Relations and Content Strategy to translate business needs into strong production plans<br /> • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, ensuring smooth delivery from scoping through wrap<br /> • Lead casting decisions and direct recording sessions, ensuring each title meets a high creative standard<br /> • Build and maintain relationships with narrators and production partners to support a diverse and scalable talent network<br /> • Help improve and standardize production workflows to support a growing catalog of audiobook content<br /> Who You Are<br /> • You have 5+ years of experience in production, including time leading projects or teams in a media, publishing, or creative environment<br /> • You are experienced in managing multiple productions at once and keeping teams aligned in fast-moving environments<br /> • You have a strong understanding of the full audiobook production lifecycle, from planning through final delivery<br /> • You are comfortable working across teams and can translate business or editorial goals into clear production plans<br /> • You experience building and maintaining senior client relationships, instilling confidence and trust in Spotify's production capabilities.<br /> • You have experience working with external vendors, including defining scope, timelines, and budgets<br /> • You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both creative and business partners<br /> • You stay organized and adaptable when priorities shift, and you're comfortable making decisions in ambiguity<br /> • You care about creating inclusive, high-quality content and supporting a collaborative team environment<br /> Where You Will Be<br /> • This role is based in New York, NY<br /> • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.<br /> The United States base range for this position is $89,853.00 –$128,362.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six-month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, paid flexible holidays, and paid sick leave.
