<p><b>Your role</b></p><p><b><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></b></p><ul><li>Develops scope of certification and audit agendas through consultation with customers. Confirms audit days are adequate based on headcount and complexity. Presents audit plans to customers and audit team. Manages the audit.</li><li>Determines the customer’s degree of readiness for assessment to appropriate standards. Assists customer in understanding the standard and program requirements.</li><li>Directs the conduct of the audit and the activities of audit team members.</li><li>Assesses the conformance of the management system to multiple standards through performing system and process audits including review of customer documentation and records, interview of customer management and staff, and observation of customer processes.</li><li>Documents audit results including audit trails, strengths and opportunities and nonconformities. Prepares audit reports and supporting documentation. </li><li>Reaches team consensus on the audit results having final responsibility for the team conclusions. Presents results of audit to client verbally and in writing. </li><li>Assists in training, qualification and ongoing evaluation of candidate auditors <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">and auditors. </span></li><li>Assists in analyzing customer responses to nonconformities for acceptance.</li><li>Performs audits in accordance with DQS Inc. program and accreditation requirements.</li><li>Performs other duties as directed.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your profile</b></p><p><b><u>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED</u></b><b><u>:</u></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree and minimum of four years’ experience in quality systems management.</li><li>Certification as an AS9100 Rev D Aerospace Experienced Lead Auditor (AA, AEA, AIEA) in the SAE OASIS database is a must.</li><li>Passed an accredited 40-hour ISO 9001, or AS9100 lead auditor course.</li><li>Experience in implementation of AS9100, AS9110 and/or AS9120 desired.</li><li>Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications</li><li>Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to concerns</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication and follow-through skills</li><li>Accountability</li><li>Time-management</li><li>Ability to work independently in a virtual, home-based environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY (EEO)</b></p><p></p><p>Qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or other protected characteristic.</p><p></p><p>The employer is subject to certain governmental recordkeeping and reporting requirements for the administration of civil rights laws and regulations.
