About the Project

I'm seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly recommended freelance cover and logo designer to create a consistent cover and branding -

1.Create the cover for my non-fiction book on buying real estate (7 chapters, ~33,600 words). The book will be self-published on Amazon KDP in both print (paperback) and eBook (Kindle) formats

2. Create a logo consistent with the concept design of the cover, to use for branding for video sales page and workbooks

Strong communication throughout the project is essential — I value designers who check in regularly, ask clarifying questions, and keep the project on track.

This is the first book in a series, with a second book already in progress and additional projects planned. I'm specifically looking to build a long-term working relationship with the right designer who can establish a consistent visual identity across the series. Candidates open to ongoing collaboration are highly preferred - not ready to hire full time at this point; looking for on-going project-specific working relationship for the right designer.

Scope of Work - Book

1. Initial concept consultation to discuss genre conventions, target audience, tone, and visual direction

2. Two to three initial cover concepts/mockups for review

3. Revisions based on feedback (please specify how many rounds are included)

4. Final cover delivered in all formats required for KDP:

a. eBook cover — Kindle-compliant JPEG (1600 x 2560 px recommended)

b. Print paperback cover — full wraparound PDF (front cover, spine, back cover) sized to KDP specifications based on final page count, with appropriate bleed and margins

5. Editable source files (PSD, AI, or equivalent) so the design can be adapted for future books in the series

Scope of Work - Logo Design

1. Initial concept consultation (can be combined with the cover consultation) to discuss genre conventions, target audience, tone, and visual direction

2. A custom vector logo that is created with these considerations in mind:

a. original geometry

b. clean scalable icon system

c. trademark-clear branding

3. usable file for use for email, worksheets (KDP and PDF), and other mediums

Design Considerations

Book Cover:

§ Look professional and competitive within the real estate / personal finance / non-fiction how-to category on Amazon

§ Be legible and visually striking at thumbnail size (critical for Amazon browsing)

§ Establish a visual template or style system that can carry across future books in the series

Both the cover and logo should:

§ Communicate credibility and authority appropriate for the subject matter

§ Establish a visual template or style system that can carry across both

Deliverables

§ Final eBook cover (JPEG, KDP-compliant)

§ Final print cover (full wraparound PDF, KDP-compliant)

§ Editable source files

§ Any fonts, stock photo licenses, or other assets used (with documentation of licensing)

§ Usable website assets

§ Print-quality graphics

§ Strong legal ownership
