Format my existing Kindle eBook manuscript (Word) for Amazon KDP Paperback (6" x 9")

Description:

I have an already-published Kindle eBook and need the manuscript professionally formatted for Amazon KDP paperback. The manuscript is text-only (no images or tables) and is currently in Microsoft Word. The paperback interior must follow industry-standard print formatting and meet KDP requirements.

Trim size: 6" x 9"

Project volume & schedule:

This is an ongoing series of 7 ebooks total that I want formatted for paperback. 1 is already published as an ebook and ready to start. 2 more manuscripts will be ready within ~10 days. The remaining 4 will be ready within ~40 days. I’m looking for a formatter who can handle multiple books with consistent styling across the series.

Scope of work:

•Format my Word manuscript for KDP paperback (print-ready interior)

• Set up proper page size, margins/gutter, and clean, consistent typography

• Apply/standardize Word styles (headings, body text, scene breaks, etc.)

• Format front matter/back matter (e.g., title page, copyright, acknowledgments, about the author)

• Add page numbering and ensure professional layout throughout

• Export a print-ready PDF that passes KDP upload checks

Deliverables:

• Print-ready interior PDF for KDP (6" x 9")

• Updated Word file with clean styles (preferred)

What I will provide:

• Microsoft Word manuscript file for each book (text-only)

• My preferred trim size: 6" x 9"

• Any series-wide style preferences (fonts, chapter opening style, headers/footers), if applicable

Pricing request (important):

Please provide an upfront, per-book price, and (if you offer it) a bundle price for all 7 books. In your quote, specify what is included (e.g., number of revision rounds) and what would change the price (e.g., heavy cleanup, complex TOC requests, multiple versions). Also confirm your availability to take on books as they become ready over the next ~40 days.

To apply, please include:

• Examples/portfolio of KDP paperback interiors you have formatted

• Your per-book price and estimated turnaround time

• Confirm you can format a text-only manuscript for 6" x 9" KDP paperback
