<p><strong>Now Hiring: Food & Beverage Manager</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Golden West Casino</strong><span> is seeking an experienced and motivated </span><strong>Food & Beverage Manager</strong><span> to lead our food and beverage operations. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, controlling costs, and ensuring exceptional guest service.</span></p><p><span>Salary: 70-80k</span></p><p><br></p><p>Location: Bakersfield, CA</p><p>The Role: Golden West Casino is looking for a professional Food & Beverage Manager to be responsible for managing all food and beverage operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan, and manage all food and beverage orders, staff, and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.</p><p>Major elements of the position include:</p><p>· Manage all food and beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.</p><p>· Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.</p><p>· Design menus, purchase goods, and continuously make necessary improvements.</p><p>· Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns.</p><p>· Lead food and beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel.</p><p>· Establish targets, schedules, policies, and procedures.</p><p>· Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork.</p><p>· Comply with all health and safety regulations.</p><p>· Schedule and manage banquet events.</p><p>· Report on management regarding sales results and productivity</p><p>· Other duties as assigned.</p><p>Ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:</p><p>· Proven food and beverage management experience</p><p>· Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).</p><p>· Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently</p><p>· Mastery in delegating multiple tasks</p><p>· Communication and leadership skills</p><p>· Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices.</p><p>· Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets</p><p>· Guest-oriented and service minded</p><p>· Culinary school diploma or degree in food service</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><span>Must be 21 years of age or older.</span></li><li><span>Must pass a background check and drug screening.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kern County Cardroom Work Permit.</span></li><li><span>Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.</span></li></ul><p>Physical Requirements:</p><p>The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
