℀ Numbers don’t scare you - they tell a story.

Spot patterns in spreadsheets, opportunities in reconciliations, and solutions where others just see red tape? Then you’re in the right place - keep reading, this might be your next big move

At Passion.io, we’re on a mission to make the world more confident and passionate by helping creators build life-changing mobile apps. With thousands of creators and hundreds of thousands of users, we need a Finance Manager who can keep our financial engine running and future-proof it for scale.

But... This isn’t a “just close the books” role. This is the heartbeat of our business. You\'ll be part detective, part architect, and part coach.

️️ Detective? You spot anomalies before anyone else.

️ Architect? You build processes that scale smoothly.

Coach? You lead and motivate a tight-knit finance team.

You’ll be hands-on with day-to-day Finance Ops while steering key processes that keep us compliant, efficient, and ready for the next stage of growth.

What You’ll Own: Accuracy. Insight. Leadership.

Lead the Numbers Game - You’ll be the go-to person for all things finance and make sure everything adds up - from monthly reconciliations to strategic insights that help guide big decisions.

Here’s where you’ll make your impact:

Financial Stewardship - Lead the accounting and consolidation process, making sure every figure reconciles perfectly
Tell the Story Behind the Data - Turn rows of numbers into insights our leaders can act on
Run the Finance Engine - Manage virtual spend programs, payroll, vendor payments - smooth, on time, and accurate
Team Leadership - Manage, motivate, and develop a small but mighty finance team
Upgrade How We Work - Spot inefficiencies, lead tool transitions, and make finance ops faster and smarter to create systems that scale as we grow

Are you our next Finance Mind behind the mission?

We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable rolling up their sleeves on reconciliations as they are communicating the company’s financial health to leadership.

What Makes You Perfect for This Role:

  • 2+ years as a Finance Manager (or similar) - you’ve run the show before with deep experience in financial accounting, analysis & reporting
  • 2+ years in Finance Operations - you know payroll, virtual spend programs & reconciliations inside out
  • You’ve led at least one team member and loved mentoring them
  • You’re officially certified - CA(SA), CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA (or an equivalent accounting designation)
  • Articulate and approachable - you make finance understandable, explaining complex numbers simply and clearly, and turning data into meaningful narratives
  • Detail-obsessed (every decimal counts!) but you also zoom out to connect those details to the bigger picture
  • Comfortable living in Google Sheets - you can create, clean up, and collaborate on spreadsheets like a pro, keeping data accurate and accessible for the whole team.”

Bonus points if you:

  • Have SaaS or tech industry experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Experience leading finance ops projects (e.g. payroll tool transitions, accounting automation, etc.)
  • Thrives in a remote-first environment
  • Extra kudos if you’ve worked with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or reporting dashboards like Tableau or Power BI - and can translate all those rows and charts into something people can actually use.

Be Part of Something Bigger…

At Passion.io, every spreadsheet you touch fuels something bigger. The reconciliations, reports, and insights you deliver help thousands of creators build mobile apps that change lives. Here, finance isn’t stuck in the back office. It’s at the heart of a mission that’s empowering coaches, educators, and dreamers around the world.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

Remote-First - Work from anywhere in the world!
️ Global Gatherings - Meet the team in epic offsite locations (think: Croatia, Portugal, Greece).
Career Growth - We invest in YOU with coaching, training, and development.
Ownership & Autonomy - You’ll have freedom to lead, experiment & improve
Time Off That Counts - 24 paid vacation days + 10 “Celebration Leave” days for holidays that matter to you.
Paid Parental Leave - Because family first, always.

Your Hiring Journey: Fast, Friendly & Full of Insight:

We know the best hires happen when there’s a mutual fit and a shared vision. Here’s how we’ll get to know each other:

Monique (Sr Talent + People Ops) - Friendly first chat to swap stories, align expectations, and see if this feels like a match.

Nikki (Head of Finance) - Deep dive into your finance expertise and how you’d tackle the challenges (and big opportunities) waiting in this role.

Eva (Head of Operations) - Vision alignment conversation on how Finance fuels Ops and how your work will drive impact across the whole company.

... Three steps, one shared goal: to see if we’re about to build something great together

You’re the steady hand behind the numbers, the strategist who sees the bigger picture, and the leader who can guide our finance team into the next chapter.

Apply now and help us write the next chapter of Passion.io’s financial story!

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
