Description

The Evidence Technician will oversee and assist with all aspects of handling, storage and disposal of physical and electronic files and media, pursuant to Repario’s operating procedures.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of aspects of multi-part projects with project managers and business leaders.
  • Data evidence staging, including intaking, uploading and downloading electronic files, from both physical media and virtual.
  • Wiping, formatting, encryption, decryption, storage, aging and disposition of electronic files and storage devices.
  • Working with secured, inventoried storage of physical media devices and electronic forensics materials.
  • Shipping and receipt of parcels containing electronic media and digital forensics materials.
  • Site access management, including opening / closing office and monitoring access.
  • Creating and reviewing billing within system of record, for services and devices, as needed.
  • Maintaining office, including answering inbound calls and ordering supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to interpret and skillfully communicate across all scenarios.
  • Adaptable, and able to function within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Computer and technical literacy, including Office365 and basic math proficiency.
  • Organized, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, load balance and maintain priorities.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Data / evidence handling or related experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • 100% in-office position, Monday - Friday
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
