Blackberg Group is hiring an Event Planner to support the execution of federal meetings and conferences. You'll work alongside our Senior Meeting Planner to handle day-to-day logistics, materials prep, and on-site support. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid event coordination experience who's looking to grow their federal contracting career.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of federal agency meetings and conferences from pre-event prep through post-event closeout
  • Coordinate venue and hotel logistics, AV setup, and on-site operations
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, name badges, and other event collateral
  • Assist with registration setup, attendee communications, and satisfaction surveys
  • Take notes during meetings and assist with meeting minutes
  • Handle general event coordination tasks as assigned by the Senior Meeting Planner

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience supporting federal government events, particularly with DOT or FTA, is a plus
  • Familiarity with federal contractor protocols preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
