About the Role We're excited to announce an entry-level work-from-home opportunity for a Security Analyst to join our Security & Resiliency Team. As a Security Analyst, you'll play a critical role in managing security risks across Dell's business, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct product security testing, project monitoring, and analyze threat models and architectures to identify potential security vulnerabilities and generate audit reports. Communicate and collaborate with internal product teams and other stakeholders to develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by demonstrating assessment results. Provide technical advice in all areas of security, including products, platforms, architecture, and networks. Continually increase cybersecurity knowledge and skills to improve Dell's security audit strategies, processes, and procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques, and apply this knowledge to enhance Dell's security posture. Essential Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in security work, including experience conducting security tests, writing proofs of concept, and performing architecture and threat analysis. Good understanding of web, cloud, container, and low-level security (hardware, firmware, UEFI). Hands-on experience with straightforward and rigorous testing procedures, such as reverse engineering, shocks, and awareness of modern security mitigation, bug classes, and exploitation techniques. Ability to analyze security-focused source code (C, C++, Java,.Net, Python, etc.) and complex products with large code bases. Understanding of attack points in modern applications and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Important security-related certifications, such as GIAC and ISC2. Research or safety advice published or displayed. Experience with security testing tools and technologies.
