WHERE YOU’LL WORK

Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, and Miami, FL. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates with East Coast working hours as a prerequisite.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

This position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring high-quality temporary and contract talent across our national portfolio, with a focus on hospitality, event marketing, and early career roles. This role will be critical in supporting hiring for our large-scale FIFA World Cup™ programs, helping staff 500+ event hospitality and operations roles nationwide.

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for contract and temporary positions nationwide
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates for high-volume hospitality, event staffing, and early-career roles
  • Coordinate interviews and manage timely candidate communication
  • Partner with internal hiring teams to forecast needs, track progress, and hold stakeholders accountable to tight time-to-fill metrics and quality standards
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support the FIFA World Cup™ and other high-profile experiential events
  • Uphold and represent Octagon’s values through every candidate interaction
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics to ensure accuracy and efficiency

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 0-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or within a staffing agency
  • Preferences
    • Experience hiring large volumes of contract or temporary talent across multiple markets 
    • Background in hospitality, event marketing, or experiential staffing
    • Experience using Greenhouse ATS or Workday HCM
    • Prior experience with campus or early-career recruitment
  • Proven ability to manage and influence internal hiring teams to meet aggressive hiring goals
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to quality of care and candidate experience over speed alone
  • Anticipated travel level: Low (0–15%)

Compensation: $22/hour
