Direct Response Copywriter We’re currently seeking a full-time, direct response marketer who thrives on writing high-converting, long-form sales page copy. You should know… This is a 40-hour-a-week (in-person or remote) role for a serious, committed writer — not a side hustle or part-time gig. What you will be doing… Get ready to step into the inner circle of global leaders in mental health education. As a direct response marketer with PESI, you’ll be joining our mastermind training developers to bring the world’s most advanced mental health clinical training programs to market. As a skilled pitch master, you’ll work side-by-side with the program development team to create exceptional written offers that awaken clinician interest, powerfully position our world-class trainings, and develop a strong emotional tie that produces immediate sales and leads. If your heroes include iconic pitchmen such as Jeff Walker, Anthony Sullivan, Marie Forleo, Billy Mays, Richard Simmons, Ron Popeil, and Amy Porterfield, we should talk. Your copy will take center stage • Your copy will power campaigns across 12 specialized brands — putting your work directly in front of millions of mental health, rehab, and healthcare professionals every single week. • Get seen in over 1.1 million inboxes through our engaged email lists — with over a million (and growing) highly targeted professionals in mental health, healthcare, and rehab. • Your work will help fuel 3000+ campaigns and 1.1 billion emails annually What You Will Be Doing (responsibilities) • Write and develop compelling offersthat build trust and drive readers to make an immediate purchase • Learn our unique copywriting recipe that has been proven to grow revenue • Leverage our years of direct response marketing and utilize past data trends and metrics to help predict offer and copy success • Use your own creative abilities and data skills to enhance and refine our proven marketing methodology • Measure and analyze marketing campaign performance to make data-driven decisions that allow you to rapidly adjust your copy to meet the needs, demands, and tastes of our audience • Confidently persuade and sell your ideas when collaborating with both internal and external parties including subject matter experts, business partners, marketing teams, media vendors nationwide, and others. What You Bring to the Team (skills and requirements) • College Degree in Marketing or related field and/or relevant sales/marketing experience • 2+ years’ experience in direct response marketing/copywriting • A proven track record of producing direct response marketing assets in various forms with sales-increasing performance • Portfolio with samples • The ability to craft an offer and pitch on the fly • Coachable, motivated and entrepreneurial-minded individual • Ability to work independently and remotely, as well as in a team environment Candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States following an offer of employment.
