This role involves leading the strategy and growth of our digital commerce platforms, which include DG Delivery, pOpshelf pickup, and Same-Day Delivery Marketplace. The Digital Commerce Manager will oversee boosting revenue and optimizing channel efficiency. This manager will be data-savvy and can use insights to improve sales, conversion rates, and order values. Knowledge in direct-to-consumer and last mile delivery is a must. Teamwork is also key, as you'll collaborate with various departments to enhance the shopping experience and increase customer engagement and retention.

Job Details

  • Manage the assortment and availability of products for assigned fulfillment channels. Identifying the products and categories that will drive growth and engagement by channel, align with in-store strategies and assortment updates.
  • Partner with digital catalog team to manage all products, including setting up new products,product attributes, images, and pricing to optimize the product detail pages.
  • Monitor KPI's for the digital commerce business that track trends, growth, engagement, and performance across channels by partnering with the data science and digital analytics teams.
  • Partner with marketing to drive ecommerce sales through effective and cost-efficient marketing, understanding all online marketing industry standards.
  • Participate in special projects that drive the strategic roadmap for digital commerce near and long-term strategic vision.
  • Partner cross-functionally with digital operations, product, IT, site-merch, marketing, digital analytics and DGMN to provide the smoothest shopping experience for the Dollar General customer.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the ecommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends
  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end eCommerce processes including website infrastructure, content management, product attribution and customer-facing functionality
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Proficient in Web Analytics (Google/Adobe Analytics) § Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of proficiency in MS office suite, especially Excel (desired skills: pivot tables, vlookups, power pivot), PowerBI, and 1010 Data
  • 3-4 years of experience in ecommerce, ecommerce marketing and digital operation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

This is a remote role. Compensation is $90,000
