KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Data Analytics Engineer (SaaS: subscription, DBT, with Mode Analytics, Omni, Looker or Segment preferred)

A leading consumer-facing streaming / digital product company is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the analytics modeling layer that powers business decision-making across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Ad Sales.

This role is focused on transforming raw product and marketing event data into clean, trusted, and well-defined data products, enabling consistent KPI reporting, self-service analytics, and a single source of truth across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Own the analytics modeling layer using dbt, transforming raw event and application data into business-ready datasets
  • Design and maintain dimensional models (fact/dimension tables, star schema) to support product and business analytics
  • Define, standardize, and govern business KPIs (e.g., retention, churn, LTV, conversion, engagement)
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth / semantic layer for consistent metric definitions across teams
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into scalable, well-structured data models and datasets
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams to deliver data products that drive decisions
  • Model large-scale event data (clickstream, user behavior, product interactions) to support funnels, retention, and engagement analysis
  • Enable self-service analytics by delivering well-documented, trusted datasets used in BI tools (Mode, Omni, Looker, etc.)
  • Implement data quality checks (dbt tests, validations) to ensure KPI accuracy and trust
  • Optimize performance and cost within Snowflake / Redshift through efficient modeling strategies
  • Drive data warehouse cleanup and standardization, resolving multiple sources of truth and inconsistent definitions
  • Support Redshift → Snowflake migration, ensuring continuity and data integrity

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); relevant certifications are a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or product analytics-focused roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt (must-have) in production environments
  • Deep expertise in SQL + analytics modeling (not just pipelines)
  • Strong experience building:
    • dimensional models (fact/dimension, star schema)
    • incremental models, SCDs, snapshots
  • Proven experience defining and owning business KPIs and metric layers
  • Experience building a single source of truth / semantic layer for analytics
  • Strong experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Experience working with product/event data (clickstream, user behavior, tracking frameworks like Segment)
  • Strong understanding of product analytics:
    • funnels
    • retention
    • engagement
    • subscription metrics (LTV, churn, etc.)
  • Experience enabling self-service analytics via BI tools (Mode, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience working in messy or evolving data environments with multiple sources of truth
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate business needs into data models
  • Ability to work independently and drive impact in a fast-moving environment

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
