<p><strong>Summary</strong></p> <p>The Copywriter plays a critical role in how Topstep shows up across every channel traders interact with. This role exists to make sure every piece of content we put out, from emails and blogs to product launches and paid ads, sounds like Topstep, resonates with our traders, and drives action. This is not a support role. It sits at the center of Brand and Marketing and works closely with Trader Experience, Product, Communications, and Brokerage to keep messaging consistent, accurate, and on brand. The right person for this role understands our traders, moves fast, and takes pride in copy that actually performs.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Write trader-facing emails across product launches, policy updates, feature announcements, and program changes that are clear, on brand, and built to convert.</li> <li>Own blog content that educates traders on market concepts, trading strategy, and the Topstep platform in a way that is accessible and engaging.</li> <li>Contribute to GTM campaigns, video scripts, paid ad copy, and product launch messaging from brief to final delivery.</li> <li>Write copy for the brokerage side of the business in compliance with NFA regulatory guidelines.</li> <li>Work alongside the Trader Experience team on trader-facing communications, updates, and announcements.</li> <li>Maintain brand voice consistency across all channels while adapting tone for context and audience.</li> <li>Audit and update existing content as products, policies, and programs evolve.</li> <li>Collaborate across Brand, Product, Communications, and Trader Experience to ensure messaging is aligned and consistent at every touchpoint.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications and Key Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>1 + years of copywriting experience in a professional setting with work that went live across email, social, blog, or campaign formats.</li> <li>Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and format across channels without losing the brand voice.</li> <li>Genuine understanding of Topstep, our traders, and what we stand for as a brand.</li> <li>Familiarity with trading concepts, futures markets, or prop firm culture, or a demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly and write about them with confidence.</li> <li>Comfortable working under NFA compliance guidelines for regulated brokerage content, or willing to learn and apply them consistently.</li> <li>Detail oriented enough to get a compliance reviewed email right and creative enough to write copy that actually engages traders.</li> <li>Comfortable moving fast, taking feedback, and iterating without losing momentum.</li> <li>Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities without losing consistency.</li> <li>This is an individual contributor role focused on hands-on execution, personal accountability, and subject matter expertise in copywriting and brand voice.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Company Culture & Perks</strong></p> <ul> <li>Topstep is an engaging working environment which ranges from fully remote to hybrid.
