Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Computer Teacher for Kids to join our team at Houston Skilled Consultancy. This is a work-from-home (WFH) opportunity to deliver fun, interactive, and engaging computer lessons to children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a love for technology, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and entertaining manner. This role offers flexibility in scheduling while making a significant impact on young learners by building their foundational computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging online lessons in computer science, basic programming, internet safety, and other technology-related subjects for kids aged 6-12 years.

  • Create interactive activities and learning materials that promote hands-on learning and creativity.

  • Utilize educational tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience and make lessons enjoyable.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Manage a virtual classroom, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Communicate with parents about student progress and areas for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and educational tools to incorporate into lessons.

  • Maintain detailed records of students progress, attendance, and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience teaching children, either in a classroom or online environment.

  • Strong knowledge of computer applications, basic programming languages, and internet safety.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a fun, understandable, and age-appropriate manner.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable using online teaching platforms and tools.

  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.

Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience teaching or tutoring children in a subject related to computers or technology.

  • Experience in a virtual teaching environment is highly preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours based on the needs of students and your availability.
