It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.<br><br><strong>Job Purpose<br><br></strong>The Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) plays a crucial role in evaluating, recommending, and providing customized Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) to meet the unique needs of our clients. This position involves working closely with clients, families, therapists, and physicians to ensure the appropriate equipment is provided to maximize independence and enhance quality of life. A strong understanding of clinical conditions and extensive knowledge of rehabilitation equipment are essential for success in this role.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, functional limitations, and mobility goals based on therapist assessment findings and physician orders. This includes assessing physical abilities, environmental factors, and lifestyle considerations.</li><li>Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists (PT,OT,SLP), clients and caregivers to develop individualized plans of care to achieve client mobility goals.</li><li>Recommend appropriate CRT equipment and associated interventions based on client’s identified physical needs and mobility goals. </li><li>Manage/Facilitate efficient procurement processes from equipment specification through delivery.</li><li>Attain and apply clinical, technical and interpersonal skills in a needs analysis of complex mobility issues for individuals with various disabilities.</li><li>Deliver and fit of equipment, assuring that functional goals established at the evaluation are metProvide thorough training and education to clients, families and caregivers on the safe and effective use of recommended equipment. Includes instruction on operation, maintenance and and troubleshooting</li><li>Complete/maintain accurate and detailed documentation pertaining to client interactions in a timely manner.</li><li>Attaining/exceeding annual sales goals and objectives as established at beginning of each fiscal year.</li><li>Consistently reviewing and reporting on sales calls, sales outcomes, and sales opportunities.</li><li>Maintaining all certifications and licenses, obtaining all required continuing education annually to assure no lapse in coverage.</li><li>Maintaining eligibility status with various vendor systems as required to assure continuous access to facilities.</li><li>Keeping abreast of funding requirements, learn the wide variety of products and manufacturers Numotion contracts with while utilizing and comprehending the technological advances within the Rehab Technology industry.</li><li>Develop and maintain new and existing relations with various referral sources.</li><li>Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission. </li><li>Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. The duties and responsibilities will be subject to change based on organizational needs and/or as deemed necessary by management.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications, Skills, And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.</li><li>Valid Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification.</li><li>Demonstrate critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required to generate appropriate, individualized recommendations for CRT equipment and interventions.</li><li>Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessary (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)</li><li>Must have valid Drivers License.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Competencies And Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum one (1) year experience working with complex rehabilitation technology.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects independently and effectively.</li><li>Previous experience in selling DME equipment.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of various clinical conditions impacting mobility, such as spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and stroke.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation equipment, including power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, seating systems, adaptive controls, and other assistive devices.</li><li>Working knowledge of compliant billing processes for rehab/assistive technology equipment as necessary (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)</li><li>Ability to perform thorough and competent seating/mobility, assistive technology, and rehab equipment evaluations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Work Requirements<br><br></strong>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
